I have recently described myself as a multicultural person. I have been raised in a faith and still practice what I was raised with. The comfort of the ritual soothes me. And if I cannot be comforted I can rage at the Powers That Be.
My interests and sometime practices include but are not limited to Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Zen practice and Wicca.
I have a favourite alternative bookshop that I go to from time to time and they keep a selection of Oracle/Tarot/Affirmation cards on the counter. If you are not buying, you are still welcome to read a card for yourself. Last week Tuesday I found myself in the shop, reading a card from a new-to-me deck. It was about materialism and it was presented in two forms - one supportive and one challenging.
When lunarmom decided to review her cards, I mentioned this in passing on her blog. http://lunarmom.wordpress.com/2010/08/05/overly-ambitious/ The description was so sketchy that I don't think anyone would have been able to pick out the card. I didn't even remember the deck name.
On Sunday, the card reading was a challenge and guide http://lunarmom.wordpress.com/2010/08/08/we-are-challenged-but-also-guided/. I saw the blog on Monday. It was the same card. From the same deck that I drew last Tuesday.
As an open-minded person, I believe that the Universe is speaking to me. There is nothing for me now but to sit still and LISTEN. As soon as I can re-read the explanation, I'll let you all know how its going.

It's amazing how we are all connected, even over the blog-o-sphere.

Kelly said it! Amazing and wondeful. I am just so glad I could be a part of this for you! Yipee for us! And yes, keep thinking about your messages, if nothing else, they are a good way to quiet the mind and get clarity.
Be Well
